Grenade launcher |
|
just wanted to post that I dont like the grenade launcher. Why?
Although it can be used as a strategic weapon I dont like the fact, that you dont have to aim with it.
I think this doesnīt fit to the the other weapons which are well balanced.
It isnīt only the fact, that you dont have to aim precisely, but also that the attacked players
canīt do anything to avoid those grenades which can be very annoying. All other weapons allow players to do a
quick turn and avoid getting hit.

Hi ScorP,
the basic idea of the grenade launcher was to have a weapon where you don't have to aim directly, but use it more strategically as its greandes bounce off walls. I admit that it's sometimes strange when a lot of players use it at the same time, but it is basically possible to dodge.
Anyway, do you have any specific ideas on how we could improve it?
We appreciate any further suggestions!
Greetings,
charlie

well, I think the grenades should be more handled like torpedos.
So they have a weaker firerate but cause more damage.
Secondly you could make the grenades move slower. I think those two points
cause the "luck-shots" I meant.
So if the grenades where bigger and slower, players would have to aim more precisely but
the bounce-element wouldnt have to be changed.
Another idea is to make the grenades a clusterbomb which means on impact they spread
small bombs. This way the strategic element would be where to shoot the grenade so
that most of the smaller bombs fly towards the enemy and donīt hit the walls directly after
the spread.

Hey thanks for the suggestion, I think I'd go for the first option - slower, but more damage Maybe we can get that into the next update...
